The word "restaurant" appeared in 1765 when A. Boulanger opened a drinks business in the Rue des Poulies in Paris and placed upon the door of his establishment, as an advertisement, an extract of the Gospel saying: "Come to my home, you men with a tired stomach, and I will restore you". This sentence became famous and further on, its final part "restore", after a few modifications, became a synonym of a place where elaborate food is prepared.
The first objective of Nabucco in 1990 was very similar to the one of the very first "restaurant" in Paris : a place where elaborate food and meals are prepared. And since then, this is what you are certain to find at Nabucco : quality pizzas and italian dishes, at a very reasonable price, served in a cosy environment. Nabucco offers also, on a daily basis, a large range of courses for those who prefer more international dishes.
In 1994, the Spanish Film Center commissioned Nabucco to run its cafeteria and prepare the cocktail parties. Nowadays, preparing quality appetizers at very affordable price for parties and ceremonies is one of the specialities of Nabucco.
